During SY23-24, the BrainSTAR (Strengthening Through Action Repetition) ABL Lab was redesigned to focus on movement-based literacy activities. In collaboration with Ms. Katherine Todd, RCES Reading Specialist, the stations were finetuned to enhance literacy growth. While the lab has incorporated sight word review and curriculum integration activities in the past, the literacy focus helped to further cement reading concepts learned in the classrooms.
